IngressLog works by placing a lightweight JavaScript snippet on your site (with optional CNAME DNS cloaking, now live), which then allows you to track all of your visitors via file download logs, and a live dashboard that shows what matters. There's no maze of complicated settings. IngressLog is fully GDPR compliant and built from the ground up by an independent developer.
We don't want to be another Plausible or Google Analytics clone, so we're trying to make it simpler and for a better price, while providing the things website administrators actually want.

What's New
We added a lot of big things but they are considered to be in a Beta phase (such as enabling IP logging and turning off GDPR mode). These are currently in testing and may be subject to frequent updates.
In the future we will probably publicly display which sites are in GDPR mode to make regulatory compliance straightforward to audit, but we will also add a checkbox to opt out of that just for privacy/security reasons.
You can also now see bot traffic, but only if you want.

We've also been working on certain things, one of which is the ability to register allowing instant account setup without requiring a domain name during onboarding.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Why don't we use a CDN for our tracker?
Putting the tracker on a CDN or a dedicated subdomain (something like cdn.ingresslog.com) may seem better, but it fundamentally cripples data accuracy over the long term by undercounting baseline traffic due to ad blockers.
Will your tracking server ever log IP addresses?
By default, IngressLog operates in full GDPR mode where IP addresses are never written to disk or stored. For users requiring raw diagnostic telemetry, we offer an optional IP logging mode that records IP addresses.
When will "CNAME cloaking" be available?
"CNAME Cloaking" is available NOW. 🥳
Do you have backend hit reporting?
Yes, we do! 🥳 Log in and go to the Setup page to see more information. This feature and CNAME cloaking are both considered to be in a beta phase, as they are still being evaluated for bugs, etc.
